Privacy Policy

Short version: NeatKiosk collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything the app does happens on your device. On the App Store, NeatKiosk's privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
This Privacy Policy explains how the NeatKiosk app (“NeatKiosk”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), published by WakeSys sarl (Luxembourg), handles information. By using NeatKiosk you agree to this policy.
1. We do not collect personal data
NeatKiosk does not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information about you or your visitors. We operate no backend and have no analytics or advertising SDKs. The app does not create an account or a user profile and does not contact us in the background.
2. Information stored on your device
To work as a kiosk, NeatKiosk saves your configuration locally on the device — for example the website URL you set, your lockdown options, and a one-way salted hash of your Settings PIN (never the PIN itself). This data stays on the device, is not readable by us, and is removed when you reset the kiosk or delete the app.
3. Camera permission
If a website you display uses the camera (for example to scan a QR code), iOS will ask for camera permission. The camera feed is processed on the device in real time to serve that web page. NeatKiosk does not record, store, upload, or share any images or video, and does not use the camera for any other purpose.
4. Websites you choose to display
NeatKiosk shows a third-party website that you, the operator, configure. That website is independent of NeatKiosk and may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy and applicable law. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the data practices of websites displayed in the app. As the operator, you are responsible for choosing the site and for providing your end users any notice those sites require. NeatKiosk's idle auto-reset can clear that site's cookies, cache, history, and local storage between sessions.
5. No tracking or advertising
NeatKiosk contains no third-party tracking, no advertising, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts because it tracks nothing.
6. Children's privacy
NeatKiosk is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. (Any website an operator chooses to display is governed by that site's own policies.)
7. GDPR (EU/EEA/UK)
NeatKiosk does not collect or process personal data, so the disclosure and consent obligations of GDPR Articles 13–14 are not triggered by the app itself. Where you, as operator, display a website that processes personal data, you act as the controller for that processing and are responsible for your own GDPR compliance, including any cookie/ePrivacy notices required by the displayed site.
8. California (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Because no personal information is collected, there is nothing to access, delete, or opt out of with respect to the app.
9. App Store privacy label
Consistent with this policy, NeatKiosk's Apple App Store privacy information is declared as “Data Not Collected.”
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
