Setup help, common fixes, and the one thing everyone asks: how to get back into Settings.
Most asked
How do I get back into Settings?
There's no visible exit button — that's deliberate, so visitors can't leave the kiosk. As the operator, you get in with a hidden gesture:
If Guided Access is on, exit it first
Triple-click the top button and enter your Guided Access passcode.
Press & hold the top-left corner ~3 seconds
Hold the very top-left corner of the screen until the admin prompt appears.
Enter your Settings PIN
Then choose Change settings (edit the site/options) or Reset kiosk (clear & start over).
The Settings PIN is separate from the Guided Access passcode. Keep both somewhere safe — losing the Guided Access passcode requires erasing the iPad.

Locking the device
Use Guided Access (single iPad) or MDM Single App Mode (fleets).
Idle reset
Set how long before the kiosk returns home and clears web data.
URL allow / deny
Keep visitors on chosen pages; block other domains and external apps.
“Can't reach the page”
Check the network and URL; NeatKiosk auto-retries and supports http & https.

How do I get back into Settings?
Press and hold the top-left corner of the screen for about 3 seconds, then enter your Settings PIN. If Guided Access is on, triple-click the top button and enter the Guided Access passcode first. From Settings you can Change settings or Reset kiosk.
I forgot my Settings PIN.
For security the PIN is stored only as a salted hash and can't be recovered. Delete and reinstall NeatKiosk to clear it, then set it up again. On an MDM-supervised device you can push a fresh configuration instead.
How do I change the website without losing my settings?
Open Settings (hold the top-left corner, enter your PIN) and tap Change settings. The wizard reopens pre-filled with your current setup so you can edit the URL or options. Reset kiosk clears everything and starts over.
Why does it say “Can't reach the page”?
Usually the device lost network (NeatKiosk retries automatically) or the address is wrong/unreachable. Confirm it's online and the URL is correct. NeatKiosk supports both http and https, including sites that redirect through an http step.
The status bar text is hard to read on my site.
In Settings, set the status-bar text to White (for dark sites) or Black (for light sites), or hide the status bar entirely.
How do I deploy NeatKiosk to many iPads?
Use MDM Single App Mode on supervised devices, and Managed App Configuration to pre-seed the home URL and options. See the keys in our deployment notes or email us.
